GENERAL INFORMATION
Payment Policy
You may use MasterCard, VISA, cash, check or money order. Make check or money order, for the amount of your fees, payable to Housatonic Community College.
The College reserves the right to discontinue, postpone, cancel or combine classes and to change instructors when necessary. Any person sitting in on a course is liable for full payment. There are no waivers. Students who have registered for courses are automatically accepted and should attend class on the date specified. Students will be notified if a course is cancelled. Please provide a daytime telephone number on the application/registration form. If you have questions about registration, please call 203-332-5057 or 332-5275 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Refund Policy
Students who withdraw, in writing, from a course 72 hours before class meets will receive a full refund. Please allow four to six weeks for processing. No refunds can be made under any other circumstance. There are no exceptions.
Cancellation Policy
The College may cancel a course that lacks sufficient enrollment. When a course is cancelled, the College makes every effort to promptly notify all registered students. A full refund is automatically processed unless the student elects to transfer to another course or section.
Bookstore Hours
Monday - Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Parking
Students should park in the College’s parking garage. The entrance is located on Lafayette Blvd. There is ample free parking with handicap spots on each level and elevator access.
