, individuals will become Certified Professional coders. Students will learn medical language, terminology, and abbreviations, the basics of biology and anatomy, and the overall guidelines for coding. The program also includes a review for the CPC exam, an Advanced Coding workshop, and a mock CPC exam. Students are eligible to take the exam, administered at Housatonic Community College after completion of the Medical Coding courses.
