Mobilization onto the Project Site continues with the addition of manpower, equipment and storage containers. During this reporting period, field offices for both the Construction Administrator and Newfield arrived on site.
Testa Construction continues with tree removal, grubbing, removal of top soil and selective exterior site and building demolition, i.e., stairs and overhang along Broad Street and the concrete entrance stairs along Lafayette Boulevard. The demolition of the interior partition also begins this month.
Ferguson Electric continues to install the temporary power and wiring in the Sound Building along with the temporary power to the construction trailers. Activation of the power to the Sound building and construction trailers by United Illuminating (UI) is now scheduled for the first week of January.
SMJ, Inc., who will be performing the plumbing, began installing the temporary water and sanitary lines from the construction office trailers.
