During this reporting period the General Contractor updated the Construction Schedule for Beacon Hall with a Data Date of March 31, 2008. This schedule indicates that the “Substantial Completion” will be achieved during the week of August 11. This is slip of about five weeks from the original date of July 5th. However, there is no further slippage of the forecasted completion date from our last report.
The General Contractor, Construction Administrator, and DPW continue to evaluate the construction schedule and associated activities to be sure that every avenue is being taken advantage of to be sure that the opening of Beacon Hall is on target and similarly that no issue is allowed to impact this goal.
In order to facilitate that goal the AV Trade Contractor mobilized and started their work during the week of April 7. In addition, it is anticipated that the Telephone/Communications Trade Contractor will mobilize on site on or about the week of June 2.
The Construction Administrator continues to meet throughout the month with the Project Team chairing the Owner’s Meetings and participating in the General Contractor’s Subcontractor Coordination Meetings.
