The Housatonic Community College Foundation is committed to the education of all its students. To this end, financial assistance is available for tuition and fees for academic achievement or financial aid as determined by the Scholarship Committee of the Foundation Board of Directors.
The Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, and community/College service. Preference is given to students in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and who have completed at least 9 credits at Housatonic. Students are notified when applications are available and the deadline for submitting them.

You are eligible to apply for-these scholarship awards if:

You are a current Housatonic student returning to Housatonic for the 2006/2007 academic year on a full or part-time basis;

You are in good academic standing. Preference is given to students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who have completed 9 or more credits. Student must have an academic history;

You have applied for financial aid for the 2006/2007 academic year. Students receiving Federal and/or State grants that cover all tuition and fees are not eligible
Applications are available here (see below) during the application periods, in Financial Aid Office, in Library and in Foundation Office (A202).
Note: Freshman students from the towns of Monroe, Newtown, Easton, Shelton, and Trumbull are eligible for the Weller Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. It is awarded on the basis of financial need to one student. Decision needs to be made and the HCC Foundation needs to be notified by June 30.
