Southington Man Named To HCC Post
Director of Institutional Advancement
BRIDGEPORT - Christopher Carollo of the Plantsville section of Southington has been named Director of Institutional Advancement at Housatonic Community College.
Carollo who comes to Housatonic from Southern Connecticut State University, brings fundraising, grant-writing and budget experience to the position. He has raised restricted and unrestricted funds and has implemented policies to achieve fundraising goals.
Carollo also has experience working with community leaders and groups, including recruiting community leaders to serve on the board of the Boy Scouts of America. In addition, he has experience in managing and selecting portfolios for alumni and organizations.

Carollo holds a master’s degree in business administration from Southern and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Roger Williams College in Bristol, R.I.
