HOUSATONIC COMMUNITY COLLEGE HOSTS FORUM FOR VETERANS
BRIDGEPORT – Housatonic Community College May 10 will hold a forum that will introduce veterans to a variety of beneficial public and private resources.
As part of the VetsLink Connecticut “Speakers Series,” the forum will provide veterans and their families with information about resources such as affordable housing, jobs, health care, education, and small business start-ups.
HCC Veterans Representative Eunice Ramirez said attendees will have the opportunity to consult with speakers so they can get more information about the available resources.
Speakers include Peter G. Curtis, founder, VetsLink Connecticut; Andre Harriott, President, Keystone Bankers; Antonio St. Lorenzo, founder, Heroes Village LLC; Dan Laffin, CT Works; Rodney Davis, readjustment counselor, Danbury Veterans Center; Gloria Kautzner, counselor technician, West Haven V.A., and Richard J. Olson, past commander, American Legion.
The event will be held Thursday, May 10, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the event center in Beacon Hall.
