Nine Fairfield Students Receive Awards At Housatonic Community College Awards Night
“Best and Brightest” Honored

FAIRFIELD— Fairfield resident Rachel Fletcher walked away with three awards recently at Housatonic Community College’s 41st Annual Awards Night.

Fletcher received the Housatonic Scholars award, the Marshall Rachleff Scholarship and The Elizabeth Lombardi Doane Honors Award for outstanding performance in the honors program. The ceremony was held to honor the “Best and Brightest” of HCC’s Class of 2012.

Fellow Fairfielder Timothy E. Willis, Jr., walked away with two awards: The Housatonic Scholars, and The Elizabeth Lombardi Doane Honors Award for outstanding performance in the honors program.

Other award recipients from Fairfield include Ernesto Cruz, Housatonic Foundation Scholar; Sharon M. Davis, Academic Achievement in Business Administration General; Deona M. Deicke, Academic Accomplishment in Business Administration: Management; Kristine M. Hackett, Excellence in the Nursing Program; Jessica M. Pinheiro, Academic Accomplishment in Business Administration: Management; Diana Quinn, Excellence in the Physical Therapy Assisting Program; and Deanna M. Selca, Academic Accomplishment in Business Administration: General.
